"My experience with Aly has been nothing but amazing! She is the highest caliber of professional and always ensures that everything is perfect for our sessions! My partner and I received a matching set of botanical tattoos a few months ago, and the experience was incredible. Aly was there to ensure that we were both happy, comfortable, and involved in the design process, and during the tattooing itself she was incredibly communicative and committed to making sure that everyone was comfortable. I have also started working with her to design and ink a beautiful new botanical sleeve. She has been happy and welcoming to me being involved in the nuances of the design, including details like the shading of different sections, and the placement of individual leaves/stems/etc.
She has a unique and vibrant style of illustrative pointillism, through which she is able to capture both the most minute details of a design and simultaneously render the most amazing shading techniques. Her shading shifts from near-abstract dot work to precise hatching techniques to make sure that every detail is accounted for! Her line work is also precise and careful, and she is able to work in both very light and fine detail, as well as heavier and darker lines. While she is nuanced, she also has a very light touch, which means that even in darker areas of a design her technique never leaves you feeling any more discomfort than exactly needed.
As if that weren’t enough, she also has a wonderful aesthetic vision for her studio, and it is a place where anyone and everyone can feel welcome! From neo-occult hand-inked bone art, to the freshest of pop-culture references, her studio has always made me feel at home. I have found myself losing track of time, lost in pondering the eclectic-yet-cohesive collection of art that she has curated."

We had a few back to back emails consulting on design. This was easy going and I felt like my vision for the tattoo was being heard.
If anything like placement, size or possible design choice seemed to have some logistic concerns I was not aware of, Aly had considered them. Aly provided as much input as possible so the final product aligned with my vision.
What really drew me to wanting to collab with Aly is her care with helping with the design elements. Giving great ideas on how to make this tattoo have cohesion with my other pieces while also allowing her the chance to add personal artistic flair.

After my first tattoo by her I knew I would be back for many more. She often checks in to make sure you’re content and comfortable.
